People settle for mediocrity in many aspects of their lives; jobs, finance, health, relationships and most costly of all, their goals.
They rarely see themselves as settling though, instead they view themselves as above average within their peer group. In my experience people who settle often display strong cynicism of others.
It is far easier to settle than it is to leave our comfort zone. We create endless excuses to justify our complacency. People are scared of change, failure and taking risks.
Real success takes courage, dedication, and the willingness to take risks.
